Thanksgiving Day is quickly approaching and we want to help you prepare to host (or attend) the festive gathering. The day consists of lots of cooking, decorating, followed by lots of eating, and finally, lounging around your loved ones. Here are fabrics we recommend if you plan on making one-of-a-kind pieces to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Burlap is one of our go-to fabrics for this time of the year. You can incorporate it into your home decor by creating a simple table runner or tablecloth to add texture and color.
When it comes to the main character of the holiday, the table accessories, Vinyl will be your best friend. This fabric is ideal for place settings as it is simple to clean, it is low maintencance, and cuts down on laundry. All you have to do to keep them clean is wipe it with a cloth! We have TONS of textures and colors of vinyl, but we recommend a brown and orange color-palette to keep the Thanksgiving festivities alive.
But what about the most important part? Cooking! We haven’t forgotten. Quilting Fabric has you covered in the kitchen. Each side of quilted diamonds measure to 1″ (inch) and the thickness of this batting is 2/8 of an inch, making it a great fabric for oven mitts.
Lastly, but surely not least, now you finally get to relax and get cozy. Our Minky fabric is warm, ULTRA SOFT, and comes in many patterns and colors. Blankets made with our Minky fabric are always a hit. They’re also make great gifts!
